Tickets are available at the door for $18.00 or for $15.00 in advance at these local merchants. Group rates are available by contacting tour@nwraps.org before November 22nd. Redeem this ticket at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for a tour program that will get you into each site.

Featured Homes

The 2008 tour will feature homes and sites along West Main street. Please see the list of featured homes for addresses, pictures and a short history of each.

Featured Music

Music is a large part of many family's holiday tradition and is a tradition of the Heritage and Holiday tour as well. Talented local artists have volunteered to entertain you as you tour the featured homes. You may wish to plan your attendance at the tour to see your favorite amongst these. Please check the performance schedule for times and locations.

New This Year

This year we have added a couple of new features to the tour. Heritage and Holly has sponsored a holiday lighting and decorating contest along Main Street that will be judged during the tour. As a special treat, Massie and Massie Associates are providing a cookie decorating station at their location on the tour so that everyone will have a sweet to take home with them. Finally, University Service at the corner of Main and Oakland wanted to show their support for the tour by inviting you to finish off your tour by stopping during the tour hours for a free coffee or soda when you show your program.

Transportation

Free transportation between sites will be provided in the form of a transport bus leased from the Decatur Park District. The Millikin Area trolley will be running on it's normal route between the university and downtown along Main street. Cost for a trolley ride is 75 cents. Additionally, you may wish to walk the tour route and take the opportunity to view the architecture of the street and enjoy the recently renovated streetscape. The park district bus will begin making it's final round of pickups for the day at 8:00pm on Friday and 6:00pm on Saturday.

Parking

Please park in the north lot of St. Paul's Lutheran church. Entrances are from Main and Edward streets. Parking is free. Parking at the individual sites is extremely limited so we encourage you to make use of the provided transportation or to walk the tour route.
